CULT comedy character Lee Nelson comes to the Wyvern Theatre on Monday.
Lee, one of the alter-egos of a performer called Simon Brodkin, is a favourite on the live circuit with his friend, Omelette, and has starred in two series of Lee Nelson’s Well Good Show on BBC3.
He’s coming to Swindon as part of his Well New Tour.
Lee is sometimes compared with other characters such as Matt Lucas’ Vicky Pollard, Catherine Tate’s Lauren Cooper and sometimes Ali G, but fans insist he has a style all his own.
Simon, a former doctor, is also the creator of a range of other characters including stereotypical right-on rich kid Hugo, dimwitted star footballer Jason Bent and Dr Omprakash, an incompetent medic and TV presenter.
Tickets for his Wyvern appearance, which contains adult content and starts at 8pm, cost £23.50.
The box office can be contacted on 01793 524481 and via www.wyverntheatre.org.uk
