PEOPLE across the town are being invited to take a step back in time and support a local event.
The Old Town Festival committee has lined up a Roaring Twenties night for their next event, and it promises to be a fun-filled night with plenty of entertainment, including a cabaret and competition to find the best Charleston dancer.
Event organiser Alma Welby, said: “It will be a fantastic evening and fun for everyone.
“Tickets are selling fast as it is an event not to be missed.”
Guests are encouraged to get into the spirit of the event by dressing up in a 1920s theme, and anyone who arrives in costume will have the chance of winning a prize for the best outfit.
The Roaring Twenties night follows on from the huge success of the search to find a Carnival Queen and Princess which took place last week.
The event takes place at the Commonweal School theatre, on Friday, March 23, from 7pm.
Tickets cost £12. To buy a ticket, call Jenny on 07903 246955 or 01793 536614.
