THE winner of a dog portrait competition organised by the owner of Capture Photography in aid of Swindon Guide Dogs has been announced.
A Schnauzer called Jack, who lives with his owner in Blunsdon, won the competition, which was judged by Shirley Fletcher, John Fisher and Coun David Renard. The competition was launched by Capture Photography owner Steve Iles, and saw dozens of dogs taking part.
Swindon Guide Dogs chairman Alan Fletcher said: “The competition raised £407 for Swindon Guide Dogs for the Blind and we would like to thank Steve for his help and support and everyone who entered their dog in the competition.
“We would also like to thank the judges for carrying out the unenviable task of choosing a winner.”
The competition closed at the end of January.
Jack and his owner have won £300.
