CUSTOMERS at a shoe shop were given special treatment on Thursday at a charity pamper evening.
Brantano, at Greenbridge Retail Park, hosted the event to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
There were stalls offering a range of services from hand moisturising to hairstyling.
The treatments were provided by stores in Swindon, including The Body Shop, and some services were provided by local beauty students.
There was even a tarot card reader for those who wanted to see their future.
Store supervisor and the event’s organiser Emma Simmons said: “The evening was a great success and there was a good turn-out.
“We’re really pleased with how it went. We’ll certainly be organising more events very soon.”
The highlight of the evening was provided by Joanna Rayner, an employee at Brantano, who agreed to a drastic hair cut “It was a great thing to do and it helped us raise even more money,” said Emma.
The evening raised £74 for the charity.
