Courtney Yasmineh will be singing songs from her new album, Wake Me Up When It’s Over, when she drops into The Beehive as part of her European tour.
The singer/songwriter teamed up with renown producer Rob Genadek for her album Beautiful Lonely, and she was delighted to attract Charley Drayton from the B52s to play drums on the CD. Courtney said: “His performances were incomparably brilliant and sexy as hell.’’ A number of her songs have been featured on radio and TV programmes across the US and Europe.
Courtney will sing her Americana roots music at Swindon’s Old Town pub on Thursday from 8.30pm. It is a free gig. For more details call 01793 523187.
