DAREDEVILS proved they had a heart as well as nerves of steel at the weekend.
Fourteen people took part in the first of three Parachute for Prospect days at Redlands Airfield, in Wanborough.
The event saw people being sponsored to take part in a tandem skydive from 10,000ft.
Andrew Thompson, communications manager for Prospect, said: “We really appreciate people raising funds for us, especially taking part in such a nerve-wracking and personal challenge.”
Head of fundraising, Sheryl Crouch, said: “For anyone who’s nervous, rest assured that all the instructors are fully qualified and highly experienced and full training will be given on the day, so all you have to do is enjoy the thrill of freefalling through the skies.”
