THE Wessex Male Choir from Swindon will be travelling to the Welsh borders to perform at the Minsterley Eisteddfod gala concert this weekend.
The choir will treat the audience to pieces from its varied repertoire, including My Way, I Dreamed A Dream and New York, New York.
Also performing at the event in Shropshire on Sunday will be Welsh soprano Rhian Lois and The Three Tenors tribute act.
The concert concludes this, the 50th Minsterley Eisteddfod, which is an annual weekend of music, poetry and literacy with competitions for choirs, groups, instrumentalists and solo performers of all ages.
The choir’s next concert in Swindon is its annual International Concert, which is being held at Steam railway museum on June 16 and will feature special guests, the University of Kentucky Women’s Choir.
