A POLICE officer has been taken to hospital with a head injury after his car collided with another on a country road.
The male officer was travelling along the A4361 near Broad Hinton at the time of the three-vehicle crash at around 1.15pm today.
Ambulance crews treated one man at the scene and took the officer to Great Western Hospital as a precaution.
Police are investigating the cause of the incident and anyone with any information should contact 101.
