TWO masked teens threatened a cashier at a petrol station at knifepoint before making off with a handful of cash.
The robbery took place at the Esso garage on Kingshill in the town on Friday at about 8.20pm.
Police have said the station was empty at the time with the forecourt closed off due to panic buying of fuel.
One of the boys, believed to be about 16 years old, approached the cashier with a knife and demanded he hand over money.
The male holding the knife was wearing a dark blue Adidas hooded top with lighter stripes, dark trousers and trainers.
The other, also said to be 16, was wearing a grey hooded top, dark trousers and trainers They ran off along the nearby canal tow path behind Shire Court.
