SWINDON Walcot and Parks Community Group and the management committee of the Buckhurst Park Community Centre are planning celebration events for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and the Olympic Games.
The committee hope to have activities for all ages and abilities relating to the Jubilee and the Olympics including a table-top and craft sale and a tea dance on June 4, plus a fun day on June 6.
The events will be held in the Buckhurst Park Community Centre, in Burghley Close, and on Buckhurst Recreational Field.
