DAD Paul Muller who caused havoc on the M4 in Swindon after taking his two-year-old son hostage in 2001 has been jailed for 10 years.
Muller, now 55, took his son hostage at knife-point following a row about custody with his partner and went on the run.
He was stopped by armed police on the motorway close to Wootton Bassett but caused 17 miles of the road to be closed off and caused massive traffic disruption.
Muller gave himself up and was arrested but skipped bail. He was only brought to justice in December 2010 when he took hostage a second son, aged two-and-a-half and with another woman.
Yesterday he was jailed for ten years.
