SWAGGER jagger will be brimming from the Oasis when X Factor finalist Cher Lloyd takes to the stage.
The pint-sized pop princess will be belting out her hits, including number one single Swagger Jagger and her current single Want U Back, when she performs in Swindon on April 14.
Cher’s appearance at the Oasis is the penultimate of her 14-date tour and the star said she is gearing up for a good night.
“I’ve done a few shows already and I’m getting more confident at it, I can’t wait,” she said.
“Everyone will be singing along. Most of the people in the front row sing every single word and half way through the show I stop and let them sing.
“It is a chance to see me do something on my own without all the gimmicks and without people having to back me up.”
The teenager rose to fame in 2010 when she appeared on X Factor alongside the likes of runner up Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle plus the colourful Wagner and former checkout worker Mary Byrne.
Cher, who came fourth in the contest, will be performing songs from her debut album Sticks and Stones, as well as new material and covers next Saturday.
“There are lots of songs that I wrote that didn’t make the album. I’m going to do those as well. I’ve got some really good cover, ones that people can sing along to,” she said. “You will have to wait to find out what they are.
“It’s all about having fun and connecting with the audience. For the first time ever I am going to be speaking on stage which is something I haven’t done before, I’ll actually be speaking to the audience.
“It’s going to be a good night, the stage looks really cool. We all sat down together and planned everything before.
“It’s all about the fans being able to come and see me.”
About 1,000 tickets, which are £15.50, are still available for the standing concert, which will include support acts SD Gem and No Lights Lockdown.
