A TEENAGER was punched to the ground in an attempted robbery on Easter Monday.
The incident happened between 9pm and 9.20pm when a 17-year-old boy was walking in the general direction of Whitbourne Avenue.
As he was walking between Welcombe Avenue and Axbridge Close, he was grabbed from behind and confronted by a black male and two white males.
The victim was punched in the face by the black man and then hit down by the two white males.
Fortunately, he managed to fight back and the three males made off without any property stolen.
The first is described as black, 6ft 2in, of slim build, with a prominent wide nose and he was wearing a black hooded jumper with a white logo and a white diagonal band across the chest.
The second is described as 5ft 10in, fat with short dark hair, a full beard about 1cm in length and he was wearing a grey round neck jumper and jogging bottoms.
The third male is thought to be about 5ft 10in, of skinny build, wearing a black hooded top and trainers with green soles.
Wiltshire Police are appealing for information from anyone who saw the incident or has any details relating to the offenders.
