BUDDING young chefs are being invited to a garden centre to learn how to make a variety of tasty treats.
David Warren, the restaurant manager at Swindon Garden Centre, in Hyde Road, is hosting baking workshops for children on April 18, April 23 and May 1.
Lewis Fox, the manager of the centre, said: “The workshops are a great way for children to learn more about baking.
“David will teach youngsters to bake something new, which they can take home at the end of each session.”
On April 18, David will be teaching children how to make cupcakes, on April 23 they will be baking cookies and on Tuesday, May 1 they will learn how to make pizza.
Each session takes place in the garden centre’s restaurant from 3.15pm onwards and children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Booking for the Baking With David workshops is essential. The workshops cost £3.95 a child, which includes a picnic box containing a sandwich, drink and three other items of their choice, as well as complimentary tea or coffee for the accompanying adult.
Tickets are available by calling 01793 822 224.
