FOR more than a decade, variety group Stage Struck have been performing their annual show at the Wyvern Theatre.

But this year they are returning to their roots by moving back to the Arts Centre, in Devizes Road.

Despite being at the slightly smaller venue, the group promise that the show is no smaller than in previous years with all the usual singing, dancing, live music, and brilliant costumes.

Producer Geoff Marsh said: “We love the Arts Centre, it was such an easy decision to make.

“We perform our pantomimes there each year and the venue is great, you feel so close to the audience, and with their refurbishment, it is better than ever.

“Unfortunately, with the economy being as it is, rising costs meant we had to choose whether to increase our ticket prices or move to the Arts Centre and keep ticket prices as low as possible for our loyal audiences. We decided on keeping the ticket prices low.”

This year’s show, which runs from May 29 to June 2, is called Stage Struck 2012. It features the usual chaotic mix of comedy, song and dance from group members aged between seven and 75. The show will include music from Shrek, Carousel, Oklahoma, Billy Ellliott, The Magic Of Motown, and many more.

Tickets are available from Stage Struck on 07193 840757.
