A programme of music by Mozart, the world’s most popular classical composer, is presented as the finale to the Swindon Recital Series on Sunday.
Mozart has a unique place in the hearts of audiences and musicians, and the programme has been chosen to show him off at his tuneful and expressive best. Included is the instantly recognisable Eine Kleine Nachtmusik.
The musicians are from the Music Of Renown Ensemble (MORE), a group of singers and instrumentalists with an interest in chamber music, featuring Peter Furniss on clarinet. The concert takes place at the Arts Centre in Swindon on Sunday at 3pm. Tickets are £12, £10 for concessions, £2.50 for students 15 to18 years old and accompanied children of 14 and under get in for free.
