Heavy metal band Roads To Nowhere were featured on Swindon 105.5 community radio last Sunday and they compete in the national competition Live and Unsigned regional showcase tomorrow.
The Chippenham-based band have scooped gigs all around the country including Kettering, Bristol and Northampton before returning to Swindon on Saturday April 28 at The Furnace Nightclub supporting The Dead Lay Waiting.
The gig starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £5 in advance and £6 on the door from 01793 534238.
Next month sees Labourn’s jazz rock star Janita Jenny Haan, lead singer of cult band Babe Ruth, make a welcome return to the West with a gig at Riffs Bar, near Hook, Swindon, on Saturday May 5. Tickets are £5.
Babe Ruth were featured on TV’s Old Grey Whistle Test and worked with Roxy Music, The Who and Queen. For more details call 01793778304.
