A TEENAGER has been charged in connection with four knifepoint robberies across Swindon.
Joseph Kingsley, 18, of Graham Street, was arrested and charged over the weekend in connection with the four incidents, which took place in a two week period.
The first two incidents took place over the weekend of March 30 - 31 at the Shell Garage, in Kingshill and the Esso Garage, in Royal Wootton Bassett.
The next two incidents took place over the Bank Holiday weekend at the Best One Express Shop, in Clifton Road, and the Hythe Road Store.
On all four occasions one man has approached the till area and threatened staff whilst another has been seen standing by the door or holding it open.
Kingsley appeared at North Wiltshire Magistrates Court today and was remanded in to custody to appear at Swindon Crown Court on May 4.
