POLICE have reopened the roads around the town's courthouses following a bomb scare.
The alarm was raised shortly after 2pm and both the magistrates court and crown court were evacuated.
Police closed off Gordon Road, Islington Street and Princes Street and motorists parked inside the cordon were unable to move their cars.
Specialist police officers and sniffer dogs carried out searches of the courts but no suspicious packages were found.
