A SELL-OUT crowd will be cheering on Swindon Town tonight as they aim to get promoted.
Swindon Town travel to Aldershot knowing that a single point will secure them promotion back to League One.
All of Town’s 1,420 ticket allocation has been sold, with fans travelling to the Hampshire club in their droves.
The club have praised the support of the fans and hope that tonight’s game will be one that goes down in history.
A spokesman for Swindon Town said: “The home and away support this season has been tremendous. Town have the second highest average home attendance in the division at 8,208 and the away following has again been equally impressive.
“There have been 10 away games this season where over 1,000 Swindon fans have attended which shows just how magnificent the support for the team has been.
“Hopefully the Aldershot game will go down as another memorable night in the Town history books.”
Nigel Bennett, spokesman for Swindon Town Supporters Club, said: “There’s going to be fantastic backing for Town at tonight’s game and, given the right result, the huge celebration will only be tempered by thoughts for Paolo and his family.”
