Master of the deadpan
THE man long hailed as the king of the deadpan one-liner appears at the Wyvern Theatre tomorrow at 7.30pm – and he’ll be back at the same venue on September 14.
The Canadian is best known to British audiences for his appearances on Live at the Apollo, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow and Mock the Week, winning fans with a comedy style that focuses on one piece of weirdness after another rather than long routines.
