FLOOD water has forced the closure of the rail line between Swindon and Bristol Parkway.
Passengers face delays, diversions and bus replacement services, with the closure likely remain in place until later this evening.
A spokesman for First Great Western said: "Owing to flooding between Swindon and Bristol Parkway no services between Swindon and Bristol Parkway until further notice, with buses running Patchway to Bristol Parkway.
"First Great Western apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.
"Train services running through these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 50 mins or diverted between Swindon And Bristol Parkway.
"A reduced service will operate to stations to and from Newport and Cardiff.
"Trains between London Paddington and Cardiff Central Swansea are being diverted and will not call at at Bristol Parkway but will call additionally at Patchway for road transport to Bristol Parkway."
