PEOPLE will get the chance to question Wiltshire’s top police officers in an online chat open to the public tomorrow.
The live session from 7pm to 8pm will provide members of the public with an opportunity to ask questions directly to Temporary Chief Constable Pat Geenty, Temporary Deputy Chief Constable Mike Veale and Wiltshire Police Authority Chairman Chris Hoare.
Temporary Chief Constable Pat Geenty said: “We are hosting this chat via our Force website to give Wiltshire residents an opportunity to ask us questions and give us suggestions about policing issues that matter to them.”
Chief Officers and the Police Authority Chairman will endeavour to answer as many questions as possible during the session on Thursday 3 May from 7pm – 8pm.
However, it may not be possible to answer all questions within the live hour. So Wiltshire Police will endeavour to post answers to questions not answered during the live hour on the Wiltshire Police website by the end of Friday.
The online session must not be used to report a crime or query the progress with an existing crime. All questions will be monitored and will only be posted once they have been approved.
For more information visit www.wiltshire.police.uk and to submit a question the website on the evening and click into the chat forum.
