SWINDON and Wiltshire Pride has announced that Nationwide Building Society will be supporting the event for a third year as the principle sponsor.
Nationwide is a passionate supporter of local community events such as Pride, and has been recognised as a diversity champion by Stonewall.
This summer the Town Gardens, in Old Town will be full of colour, music and excitement as the event celebrates its fifth birthday on August 4.
Chairman Jo Sharpe said: “Swindon and Wilshire Pride is an amazingly diverse music festival and community event.
“We like to mix things up so, throughout the day there’s an exciting combination of new and up-and-coming musicians, well-known performers and community speakers.
“This year sees the introduction of the two new areas The Variety Stage and the Silent Disco.
“We would love people to come and join us for the Pride Parade through Swindon's Old Town where, on the return to the Town Gardens, they will be able to explore the shopping and food stalls.
“There will also be stalls from service providers such as the Samaritans, the police and ourselves.”
