THE two conservative candidates have won the seats available in the Chiseldon and Lawn ward.
Mike Bawden received 910 votes and Fionuala Foley received 938. Both were councillors in the old ward of Old Town and Lawn.
Coun Bawden said: "I am delighted and we have learnt a lot about the Chiseldon ward in the last few months.
"I look forward to working with the parish council."
Coun Foley said she was thrilled to have retained her place on the council.
"I am delighted to be given the opportunity to represent Lawn once again and I am looking forward to finding out more about Chiseldon."
The turnout for the ward was 42 per cent. For a full list of the number of votes cast for each candidate go to the Election 2012 section.
The first results came in shortly after 12.15am - which was ahead of the council's estimated time of 12.30am.
