OLD Town residents have elected two Conservatives and one Labour councillor to represent them.
In what was one of the most controversial and fierecely contested wards, council leader Rod Bluh, fellow Tory Brian Mattock and Labour's Nadine Watts were victorious.
Coun Bluh, who received 871 votes, said: "I'm glad we've got to the end of it. It is going to be a very interesting year."
Coun Mattock, who received 971 votes, said: "I would like to thank all the people who supported me.
"It was great to be top of the polls."
And Coun Watts, who received 785 votes, said she was still shocked after hearing the results.
"I'm still quite shaky but I'm really pleased to have been elected.
"I'm really happy but really tired too."
