McDonald's is running a Leap Year giveaway on their Instagram today (Thursday, February 29) where the equivalent of 210 Big Macs could be won.
As part of its ‘Leap Year Live’ social media promotion a live stream will take place on its Instagram page from 12:29 to 13:29.
An order board will be live-streamed where order number 29 will move from ‘preparing’ to ‘ready to collect’ 29 times over the hour.
The first customer to screenshot the board and send the brand a direct message with the image included will win 29,000 Reward points.
McDonald's adds: "The MyMcDonald’s Rewards scheme means every penny spent equals one Rewards point.
"There are some amazing Rewards available for customers to treat themselves to when point milestones are hit."
If an person wins one of the 29,000 points prizes that could be used to purchase seven Big Macs if desired.
What could you win with McDonald's rewards points?
When McDonald's customers reach 1,500 points, they can choose between menu items including small Fries, a Hash Brown, a regular Cold Soft Drink or a Side Salad.
The next stage is 2,500 points which qualifies for items such as a Double Cheeseburger, Vegetable Deluxe or Apple Pie.
With 4,000 points, customers can choose between menu favourites like 6 Chicken McNuggets, a Big Mac or Filet-O-Fish.

Finally, with the 5,500 points milestone, customers can choose from a Mighty McMuffin, a McSpicy, a Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese or a McCrispy.
With the live stream providing 841,000 free points in total, if you're quick enough you could have plenty to work with.
There is also an option for customers to donate the cash equivalent of their points to BBC Children in Need, FareShare and Ronald McDonald House Charities to support the company’s commitment to funding and supporting youth work, alongside reducing food poverty and waste in the UK.
