PURTON and New College also both tasted victory on the opening day of the Division One West season.
Justin Miller’s Purton battled back from a goal down to grab all three points with two goals in the final 10 minutes against North Leigh at the Red House.
Jack Morton had given the visiting side the lead with a goal 20 minutes in.
That was how it stayed until 80 minutes gone when David Slattery netted the equaliser.
The three points were secured in the dying moments when Paul Carson scored the winner for the home side.
New College recorded a 3-1 win at Letcombe.
Two goals in a couple of minutes midway through the first half from David Kinuthia and Jack Croucher put College in command.
Marc Merritt pulled one back shortly before the hour mark but Josh Goddard’s 90th-minute strike wrapped up the points.
