SWINDON Town will discover who they will face in the second round of the Capital One Cup when the draw is made later this evening.
The Robins beat Luton Town 2-1 at Kenilworth Road last night, thanks to a brace from Michael Smith, to reach the next stage and are in with a shout of facing Premier League giants such as Manchester United and Newcastle United.
The draw will be made on Sky Sports this evening, following the conclusion of the televised first-round tie between Coventry City and Cardiff City.
Manager Mark Cooper knows landing a big side will significantly boost the club’s coffers, saying: “If we get the right draw then it does help so fingers crossed. Last year we had a cracker when we got Chelsea.
“You either want someone at home who you know you’ve got a real chance of beating or a real money-spinner.”
