CREWE assistant manager Neil Baker is expecting a stern examination of his side at the County Ground today.
The Railwaymen were soundly beaten 5-2 at home by Rochdale in midweek and travel to Wiltshire still in search of their first point.
Crewe’s only victory this season did come against a League One side, as they saw off Barnsley in the League Cup, and encouragingly for Baker and Alex chief Steve Davis they have scored in every game.
Today they will face a Town side that Baker thinks could be pushing towards the top of the table at the end of the season.
“We expect a tough test,” he said.
“They are good footballing team with lots of good players and they will be round about at the end of the season.
“I think that it will be an enjoyable game but we have not got to just sit and watch them play.
“Our pressuring is going to be important and how resilient we are will be important, but we have the ability when we have possession to cause them a few problems.
“They have got good attacking players, athletic players in their wing backs, good movement in midfield and they can all play.
“We have got to try and restrict their chances and cause them problems when we have the ball.”
