TOWN boss Mark Cooper is planning to speak to defender Josh Lelan and parent club Derby County about the youngster’s future at the County Ground.
The 19-year-old’s work experience deal came to an end following Town’s 2-0 success over Crewe Alexandra on Saturday.
“I need to speak to Josh tonight and speak to Derby with what we are doing and make a decision over the weekend,” Cooper told the press after Saturday’s success.
“I think that he (Lelan) has got something, he is athletic, he can fit into the way that we play, I’ve have liked what I have seen.”
The Town boss also said that no decision has been made over former Sydney United striker Joel Chianese, while he also said that they had not been any fresh interest from other clubs have in his players.
