SWINDON Town have signed Jake Reeves on a short-term contract following his release from Brentford.
The deal for the midfielder is still subject to Football League and FA approval but once ratified the 21-year-old will be signed on until January 2015.
Like new teammates Nathan Byrne, Yaser Kasim and Massimo Luongo, Reeves was on the books at Tottenham. At the age of 16 he moved on into Brentford’s youth system where he progressed into the first team under former managers Nicky Forster then Uwe Rösler.
The central midfield player made his first team debut on the final day of the 2010/11 season and has played 47 games for Brentford in all competitions, scoring one goal.
If approved by the Football League and the FA Reeves will go straight into consideration tomorrow's fixture against Coventry City due to Town's current injury situation.
