SWINDON Town’s saviour Raphael Branco believes that his side can use the next two weeks to iron out their imperfections.
The County Ground side have been conceding some soft goals of late and the Brazilian defender, whose 72nd minute header earned his side a point against Coventry City, feels that this break can only be a good thing for the club.
“It is important. In the last three weeks we have played six or seven games, now we have a nice break,” he said.
“We can train, see what is wrong and what we are doing right. Also (make sure) we don’t do it wrong against Bradford.
“We had more possession than Coventry, but this is football. We need to keep going from game-to-game, not making mistakes like we have been doing.
“But I think 1-1 is not that bad.We have got one point, we now have two weeks training.”
Branco was also pleased that he was finally able to celebrate his first goal for the club after his last-gasp leveller at Gillingham was ruled an own goal.
“I’m happy for my goal. It was a very good cross from Nathan Byrne. I got my head down,” the 24-year-old said.
“I think that we should have win this game. When it was 1-1, everyone is pressing (but) unfortunately we couldn’t score another one.
“When you play a hard game like we did on Tuesday night, physically and mentally. We just tried to do our best today, we kept the ball, unfortunately we didn’t score the second goal.”
