TOWN fringe players Jack Barthram and George Barker could be on their way to Exeter City before the loan window shuts today.
The duo, whose contracts are up at the end of the season, have been training with the Grecians and were expecting to play in a development fixture this afternoon.
If they impress, both could be heading to St James Park before the emergency loan window shuts today.
Town boss Mark Cooper is keen for the players on the edge of his plans to play more regularly.
"We've got one or two that we could probably let out,” Cooper told the local press.
"George Barker and Jack Barthram are spending a couple of days with Exeter and I think they are playing a game for them today "If anyone comes in for a couple of our boys on loan that are not in our squad, then we'll try and help them to get some game time.”
As for any more players joining the Robins, they will not be forthcoming, with Cooper confirming: "There definitely won't be any more coming in."
The Swindon Advertiser was not permitted to attend this morning's press conference.
