PREDICTIONS LEAGUE: Pay-Off Semi Final Sheffield United v Swindon
The end of season lottery can now begin. The players are all rested and hopefully spoiling for some serious competitive football. We will need to be at our very best to get past The Blades, something we haven’t been of late. Let’s hope the recent team selections have lulled the opposition into a false sense of optimism and Mark Copper has played a blinder.
Town will need to get a positive result at Bramall Lane, be it a draw or a one goal advantage. What we can ill afford is to be out of the reckoning when we play the return leg at the County Ground.
This is our time. We need to believe that we have what it takes to get the promotion. We have the players, the skills, but do we have the hunger and the desire. The fans certainly do. Let’s hope that come Monday 11th , ten thousand plus fans can cheer, scream and shout and help the Town on their way to a Wembley final.
