ADVER Sport's Tom Bassam hands out the ratings from Town's dramatic 2-1 win at Bramall Lane.
Wes Foderingham
Gave assurance to his defence with solid handling and reliable distribution. Made a great stop to deny Done in the second half. 8
Nervy stuff from the skipper. He did not have the legs to skip away from the United attack and his passing was off key. 5
Jack Stephens
Stood up well to United's big unit Davies and played out well under pressure. Town's best defender. 7
Jordan Turnbull
Some dodgy moments up against Flynn and the goal came from his side, however he held his nerve and came good at key moments. 6
Nathan Byrne
A very poor opening 20 minutes, but after that came to be in an influential figure in the game. His goal at the end will be cherished for a long time if Town make it to Wembley. 8
Massimo Luongo
A reliable, if slightly marginal figure mostly, but did spring Byrne for the late winner. 6
Yaser Kasim
The best player on the pitch. He controlled the game for Town when it threatened to get away from them after the first 20 minutes. Always made room for himself and others with his skill and passing. 9*
Ben Gladwin
Started with a deft run and shot to scare the United backline. Played with composure, without many highlights after that. 6
Sam Ricketts
A great header made up for a less than great display. He is not great going forward and his pace means his the defender on his side is regularly exposed, see the first goal for evidence. 6
Michael Smith
Battled well all night against a physical back line. Others got the rewards for his endeavour. 7
Jermaine Hylton
Looked lost to start with. Then he came into the game and troubled the Blades reaguard with his pace and dribbling. I imagine that was always the plan. 7
Subs
John Swift (on for Gladwin, 66)
Worked hard, but coould not get into dangerous positions. 6
Andy Williams (on for Hylton, 76)
Town were on the back foot for most of his time on the pitch. 6
Jonathan Obika (on for Smith, 90+)
Barely got a touch.
