THE FOOTBALL League have announced that Andy Madley will referee Swindon Town's play-off final against Preston North End.
Madley will be assisted by Dan Cook and Wade Norcott, with Mark Haywood as fourth official and Shaun Hudson as reserve assistant.
The West Yorkshireman has refereed six Town games since being appointed to the Football League in 2011. In those games Swindon's record is two wins, two draws and two defeats, with Madley handing out 23 yellow cards and one red.
The man sent off was Town skipper Nathan Thompson, with Madley issuing that marching order in the dying embers of Swindon's 4-2 League Cup defeat to Brighton.
