SWINDON Town defender Jordan Williams looks set for a spell on the sidelines with a knee injury.
The Liverpool loanee posted a picture of his left knee in a supportive brace following a build up of fluid on the joint, accompanied by the word ‘gutted’.
It is not known how long he will be absent for at this stage, with the 19-year-old called up to next week’s Wales Under 21 game with Denmark, but he has said that he is seeing a specialist on Monday to rule him out of tomorrow's trip to Blackpool.
Williams joins striker Wes Thomas and skipper Nathan Thompson on the injury list, while Jermaine Hylton is in contention for his first start since returning from injury.
Yaser Kasim has been selected up for Iraq’s international with Jordan tomorrow, but it is unknown at this stage whether he will be joining up with his country.
A request was sent to the club to clarify the international call-ups and which games players would be missing, but no reply has been received.
