Nationwide C team secured their third win of the season with a comeback performance in the final quarter to defeat Fairford B 48-39.
Fairford led at half-time by five goals but Nationwide reduced the arrears to two by the end of the third quarter before dominating the final session to win by nine.
Georgie Brain was player of the match for Nationwide.
Lawn E enjoyed a 50-33 success over Raychem G with GK Jade Young in outstanding form to collect the player of the match gong.
Holly Thompson was the star performer for Lawn A but they fell to a 60-45 defeat to Abbey Meads A.
Lawn D were in a fierce battle with Faringdon, who only held a three goal lead going into the break, however Lawn were unable to keep pace as they fell to a 33-24 defeat. Centre Ava Kirby was player of the match for Lawn.
The B team faced a strong Nationwide outfit, who pounced on any mistakes on their way to a 53-35 victory despite the best efforts of Lawn’s Jess Hembrough.
Lawn’s Regional League suffered a 60-41 loss to Premier Romans.
Lawn trailed from the start but still continued to fight to stay in contention with wing attack Kirsty Harris receiving the player of the match award for her dynamic drives.
Lawns Over 35s enjoyed a 43-12 success over Nationwide in their top-of-the-table clash.
Excellent shooting from Lynn Palmer and Karen Rawlins saw Lawn take the lead, while the tightly packed defence of Sandra Wright, Julie Harris and Helen Eley limited Nationwide’s options.
Nikki Carvey received player of the match gong for the undefeated league leaders.
The Under 14s claimed a 32-14 success over Poole.
Pinehurst B edged a thrilling match with Croft A 51- 48.
Despite some swift passages of play by Croft, Pinehurst remained calm and to take the victory with captain Charlotte Sunderland named player of the match.
Royal Wootton Bassett B enjoyed 39-30 over Jets B in Division Four.
Slippery conditions meant it was a fairly slow placed start to the game with RWB B taking a small lead after the second quarter.
Some team changes for third quarter gave Bassett more movement in attack which resulted in them winning the game. Banita Mudhar was awarded player of the match for RWB B.
Bassett C eased to a 51-9 victory over Ferndale with Sharron O’Neill was named player of the match for the victors.
RWB A took on Delta Reds B in division 3 and secured a win of 52-27. Grace Evans was player of the match.
