LAWN A made it six wins from six in Division One of the Swindon & District Winter League as Abbeymeads A were put to the sword 52-46.
Abbey ended the first quarter six goals up, but with Jess Hembrough and Macy Dawson picking up loose balls in the centre third and forcing errors, Lawn hit their stride to wrap up victory.
In Division Two, an even match between Royal Wootton Bassett A and Raychem C saw the latter pull away to win 53-48, with goal defence Lauren Skuse named Bassett’s player of the match.
Lawn B took on Croft B in another tight battle, Lawn keeping their heads in the crucial moments to win 37-32, Holly Atkins the player of the match.
Lawn C team were held 51-51 by Nationwide B, Fiona Bowering being the player of the match.
A good start from Royal Wootton Bassett B saw them take the lead in the first quarter against Farringdon in Division Four, with them finally winning the game 40-32.
Bassett’s player of the match was goal shooter Charly Giles.
Moonrakers came out as 54-23 winners over Purton B to continue their flawless start, Olivia Wood receiving player of the match honours.
Bassett’s C team started strongly against Delta B but despite some excellent defending, Delta won 26-23 in the final quarter, with goal defence Jess Smith being Bassett’s player of the match.
It’s four wins from four for Lawn D after they downed Jets B 39-26, Fliss Tiley their player of the match.
The Lawn E team claimed a second win of the season in Division Five, 53-26 against Moredon C, with Jessica Crossley the player of the match.
Lawn edged Nationwide in their Over 35 League battle 27-24, Sara Kershaw their player of the match.
Lawn's Regional League Three squad clinched a deserved first win of the season in their all-Wiltshire battle with Devizes.
Leading by three goals at half-time, accurate shooting from Abbie Simpson and Lucy Ruddle helped Lawn to a 47-35 victory.
Royal Wootton Bassett claimed victories over Raychem at U13 and U14 level on Sunday, Poppy Beard starring as player of the match in the U13s 10-0 win and Rhiannon Arthur doing likewise in the U14s 13-9.
