GOAL defence Lauren Skuse was Royal Wootton Bassett A’s player of the match despite a 70-32 defeat at the hands of Burmah B in Division Two of the Swindon & District Winter League.
The inter-club battle between Lawn’s B and C teams went the way of the former 46-24, Ebony McIntyre and Bailey Trollope winning the respective player of the match awards.
Bassett’s B and C teams met each other in Division Four, a late surge from the B team handing them a 43-38 triumph.
The B team’s player of the match was Annabel Hosking, with Jess Smith clinching the honour for the C team.
Moonraker held a five-point lead at half-time of their game against Delta B before going on to close out a 42-31 triumph.
Olivia Wood was Moonraker’s player of the match Table-toppers Lawn D were pushed all the way by Raychem E before being edged out 36-35 for their second defeat of the season. Hannah Simpson was player of the match.
Despite fine performances from wing defence Izzy Dawson and wing attack Sophie Bull, Lawn were defeated 57-38 by Poole in their Regional League Three encounter.
