SWINDON Town midfielder Jordan Edwards has joined National League South neighbours Chippenham Town on a three-month loan deal.
The 19-year-old, who is under contract to the County Ground club until next June, made his league debut for Swindon in the 3-0 win over then-League Two champions Accrington Stanley in May, his only senior outing to date.
The Bluebirds announced his arrival this afternoon and he links up with Mark Collier's injury-hit side, who are currently 10th in National League South with six wins from 11 matches.
Collier, whose side host Hendon in the third qualifying round of the FA Cup at Hardenhuish Park tonight, said: "Jordan’s signature comes at a very important time with us suffering from long-term injuries and suspensions.
"He will add a quality to the already competitive squad.
"Phil Brown (Town boss) and Alan McLoughlin (Town academy boss) speak highly of the player and he is a very welcome addition.''
