Promising winger Bancroft heads to Salisbury on loan
PROMISING winger Jacob Bancroft has joined non-league Salisbury on loan until January.
The 18-year-old, who made one first-team appearance under Richie Wellens last season, impressed at academy level last season – helping Town’s U18s challenge for the Merit League I title.
Whites boss Steve Claridge has clearly taken a shine to Bancroft, who featured in Town’s pre-season friendly at the Ray Mac earlier this month.
Salisbury are hopeful that Bancroft will feature in the club’s friendly against Downton this afternoon.
