BRISTOL City winger Jonny Smith has signed for Swindon Town on loan for the 2020/21 season.
The 23-year-old joined the Championship club from Wrexham in 2016 but has yet to make a first-team appearance for the Robins.
He has spent much of the last four seasons out on loan, most recently in League Two with Oldham Athletic last season – netting nine times in 28 appearances.
His is the third Smith to sign on loan for Town this summer - after Sheffield United striker Tyler and Arsenal midfielder Matt - and impressed in a 2-1 friendly win over Brentford B on Saturday.
"He was at Oldham last year and is bright in the final third, quick, he's very tricky and his final product is very good," boss Richie Wellens told BBC Radio Wiltshire.
"He hit the crossbar against Brentford, set a goal up and created three or four other chances so we are really pleased with him.
"He gives us something a bit different in the final third."
Smith has also had stints at Cheltenham Town, AFC Fylde and Tranmere Rovers, where he helped the Merseysiders to promotion to League One in 2018/19.
The deal is subject to EFL and FA approval.
