SWINDON Town have released an all-black third kit for the remainder of the 2021-22 season.
Town say the PUMA-manufactured kit - and the social media hashtag #OutOfTheDarkness - was designed to represent the club’s journey since being taken over by new owner Clem Morfuni, and as a nod to the bright future ahead.
In a brief statement from Swindon Town, the club went on to say: “Standing out as a striking all-black number, our unique third kit stands out from the rest and we hope will be a winner on and off the pitch.
“It also features the branding of Red Squirrel Plumbing, who have just joined as an official partner of the football club and they are the official back of shirt sponsor of our third kit.
“We are making huge strides forward in style, and we believe this third kit will be worn with pride both by the players on the pitch and by our fans of it.”
Town could wear the kit for the first time against Leyton Orient on Tuesday, December 7.
