HARRY McKirdy has been mocked on social media after missing a penalty during the shootout defeat which cost Swindon Town a trip to Wembley.
Hosts Port Vale had missed twice from the spot when Town's top scorer stepped up - had he scored his team would have been one spot-kick away from the play-off final, but he saw his effort sail over the crossbar.

The striker wrote on Instagram after the game: "F****** heartbroken. What a sad way to go out. I’m sorry. We’ll be back," followed by "I luv u all. I’m so sorry it’s ended."
But while McKirdy deals with the outcome, others have wasted no time in mocking him for the penalty - including Newport County's Kevin Ellison, who posted a video of him 'catching' McKirdy's strike' onto TikTok.

There's no love lost between the two as Ellison called McKirdy a "gob*****" after the Town star - famed for Instagram posts that wind up the opposition - likened him to Harry Potter character Voldemort earlier in the season.
Swindon carried a goal advantage into the second leg after a 2-1 win at home, but Vale clawed that back by finishing the 90 minutes and extra time with a one-goal lead, leading to a penalty shootout.
Charlton striker Josh Davison also missed for Town, sending proceedings into sudden death where Ellis Iandolo's failure from the spot decided the game in Vale's favour.
