SWINDON Town’s Mathieu Baudry has taken aim at Port Vale ahead of this afternoon’s League Two play-off final at Wembley.
There is no love lost between the clubs after Vale’s win on penalties in the semi-final sparked a pitch invasion that saw Town players attacked and away fans reportedly pelted with missiles.
Vale have sold 16,000 tickets for the trip to the national stadium – a number ridiculed by Town fans on social media who claim a party twice that number would have been making the trip from Wiltshire today had the shootout gone the other way last Thursday.
And now Baudry – out of contract but offered a deal to stay at the County Ground – has had his say on Twitter ahead of the final.
All the best to #mtfc and #pvfc today. May the best team win and reminder for all the 16k portvale fans ,regardless of the result, a day away from that shithole is a day to celebrate. Enjoy ! 👌🏼😉

Vale take on Mansfield Town at 4pm today, with the winners joining fellow promoted teams Forest Green Rovers, Exeter City and Bristol Rovers in League One next season.
