SWINDON Town have announced talented teenagers Mo Dabre and Harry Parsons have both signed one-year contract extensions.
Dabre joined Town last year after a spell in Italy and has only featured in cup competitions but is highly thought of at the County Ground.
Meanwhile, Parsons progressed through Swindon's academy after arriving as an eight-year-old and made a total of 27 appearances for the Robins and Chippenham Town last term, scoring five goals.
Town say the two 19-year-old’s "have impressed during pre-season and are seen as exciting prospects for Town heading into the new 2022-23 campaign."
Swindon's technical director, Sandro Di Michele, said: “Mo and Harry are two lads we really like, and they’ve both been at the club for a few years now.
“We are really keen for them to continue their development journey with us and we’ll be working hard to prepare them for first team football this season.
“Both had successful loan spells at Chippenham which has really helped them grow as young players and gain experience in that competitive environment, and both will play a big part in what we are trying to achieve here at this football club moving forward.”
Versatile midfielder Dabre featured in all four of Town’s EFL Trophy games last term, scoring against Arsenal Under-21s in the group stage.
He also spent a fruitful spell on loan at Chippenham Town earlier this year, making eleven appearance and scoring once.
Parsons signed a scholarship deal in 2019, and in the same year he went on to make his debut for the club in a 1-0 defeat to Bristol Rovers in the EFL Trophy. Since then, he has gone on to make six first-team appearances.
Like Dabre, Parsons headed to Chippenham on loan back in November last year, signing an initial one-month deal that was then extended as he went on to score five times in seven games.
