LEIGH Henry could make his long-awaited return from injury tomorrow afternoon when Supermarine travel to Rugby Town in the Southern League Premier Division.

The 21-year-old central defender has been sidelined for six weeks with a knee injury, but after an intensive course of physiotherapy Henry, pictured far right, is finally back in the frame for selection.

Marine have leaked 14 goals in his absence and manager Mark Collier admits he is thrilled at the prospect of Henry's imminent return.

Collier said: "To have a fit Leigh Henry back would be a massive bonus for us and we're certainly hopeful he can play some part.

"Leigh has worked incredibly hard to get himself ready because it has been a frustrating time for him.

"We could have done with his experience in the heavy defeats to Team Bath and King's Lynn, but we didn't want to rush him back.

"If he's not ready then we will make him wait another week, but I know he is desperate to get out there again."

Marine may be off to Butlin Road tomorrow, but Collier insists it will be no holiday camp for his players in Warwickshire.

Rugby have a new manager in former Bromsgrove Rovers boss Rod Brown, and Collier knows the Valley players will be out to impress.

He said: "Rod has made a few changes since he arrived at Rugby and no doubt their lads will be out to prove a point.

"We were excellent against Hemel last week and if we can match that performance we can certainly take something from the game.

"Our away form has not been too bad this season and we will go there looking to win the game as always."

Strikers Richard Kear (hip) and Ashley Edenborough (dead leg) are both doubts for the trip, while midfielder Gary Horgan is suspended.

New signing Simon Heal could continue in midfield after impressing on his debut at Hunts Copse.

The 25-year-old former Cardiff City man has made a big impression on Collier, who is determined to build on last week's positive result.

Meanwhile, veteran Keith Knight has been released by the club after struggling to hold down a regular place in the squad.

The former Cinderford Town manager has joined Bishops Cleeve on a permanent basis.

"Keith wants to be playing regular first team football and we couldn't guarantee him that here," said Collier.

"His experience at coaching sessions has been invaluable though and we wish him all the best in his new venture."
