THERE was a dramatic finish to the local derby between Stanford-in-the-Vale and Faringdon Town Reserves in Division Three.
Stanford, the home team, led 2-1 as the game went into time added on.
They were stunned as Faringdon scored twice in 40 seconds, but within a minute hit back to equalise.
Stanford scorers were Adam Clay (pen), Ben Harrison and Richard Evans, with Matthew Hickson and Jason Lenik (2) replying.
In Division One, Faringdon's senior team condemned Saxton Rovers to only their second defeat of the season.
Two goals from Gary Sutton and one apiece from Robbie and Derren Harrington settled the game 4-0.
Understrength Coleshill United recorded a valuable 2-0 win over Wootton & Dry Sandford in their fight to stay out of the relegation positions.
In Division Five, Coleshill United A kept the pressure on leaders Benson Reserves with a 4-0 win over Challow Reserves, 54-year-old Neil Crosby, Ryan Philips, Martin Chivers and Chris Bill scoring.
Faringdon Town A won 4-2 against Sutton Courtenay Reserves with goals from Matty Curtis (3) and James Tyler.
